Church Building
Due to the concern of spreading the virus the Langely COG stopped having services in the building from March 22nd to April 26th. We quickly navigated to livestream.
We did not stop there. Although our church is thoroughly cleaned weekly we wanted to go above and beyond. Since the very first Sunday of no service we have 1) sanitized the sanctuary 2) wiped down the kids class rooms (including walls and toys 3) sanitized the rest of the building.

Body Ministry
Although our church has not been meeting as a group we felt like ministry to the body needs to continue.
During our Easter weekend you could look around and see many houses who were egged. Children of all ages would walk out side and see the yards decorated with eggs by Glow Kids. To see their face light up was a joy.
We hand delivered communion cups and bread to every household. Easter Sunday we took communion together as a church family.
We have had staff and volunteers making weekly phone calls to members and those around our church.

Community Outreach
Ministry never stops, even during the covid-19 virus. We at the Langley COG were able to reach out to local ministries and support them during this time.
We sponsored the Gloverville PHC food ministry during our Missions Sunday. We gave $1000 to help feed the community.
We also sent over 35 baskets to three hospitals, nursing homes & ems stations full of snacks for the nurses and doctors. The staff was so grateful and surprised.
We had volunteers making masks for health care workers and those in need.
